Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, organization name, EIN (optional), mission statement, focus areas, and service counties. We also collect usage data such as search queries, saved grants, and alert preferences.

We use your information to:

• Provide AI-powered grant matching based on your organization profile
• Send grant alerts and deadline reminders you configure
• Improve search relevance and grant recommendations
• Enforce usage quotas based on your subscription plan
• Communicate product updates and service changes

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate GrantLens:

• Clerk — authentication and identity management
• Stripe — payment processing (via Clerk Billing)
• OpenAI — AI matching and grant writing assistance (mission text only, no PII)
• Microsoft Azure — cloud infrastructure and data storage

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), parameterized database queries, JWT-based authentication, and secrets management via Azure Key Vault. Database credentials are never exposed in client-side code.

Your organization profile and saved grants are retained as long as your account is active. Search usage records are retained for 90 days for quota enforcement. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

You may access, update, or delete your organization profile at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account entirely, contact us at contact@kojoanalytics.com.
